If life's problems have been weighing you down lately, you can bring them to Trammell Crow Park on Sunday and let it all out. Chances are, other people will be doing the same thing.
Driving the news: An Arlington man has launched the Dallas Yell Club to give North Texans an outlet for screaming into the void without worrying about startling someone else.
Why it matters: "Free therapy," Dallas Yell Club creator Shiloh Bellinghausen tells Axios.
- "Everybody's got a reason to yell or scream — whether it's stressed out at work or even if you're excited about life. You just want to let it out sometimes," he says.
How it happened: Bellinghausen says he was laid off from his job in accounting over the summer. His mother died around the same time.
- "This idea that I've had in the back of my head, I could use it too. It's not only relatable to the community, but also something that I could use as well," he says.

Zoom out: Chicagoans have gathered for their scream club for years, and branches have started in other cities.
How it works: The schedule for Sunday is simple. The group will meet at the slope at Trammell Crow Park. There are three yell times — 6:15pm, 6:17pm and 6:20pm.
- "After that, you do whatever you want," Bellinghausen says in a TikTok video.
Reality check: Bellinghausen's social media posts have blown up in the past week. But his "funny, stupid" club is so new, he has no idea how many people will show up.
- He will make adjustments for future events based on how the first one goes.
The bottom line: "It's a low barrier to entry. It's come and go as you wish — here's the schedule. Come if you want. Don't come if you don't," he says.
