This coffee shop in Garland's Firewheel Town Center began as a mobile cart at weddings and corporate events.
The intrigue: Murphy resident Bassam Khalaf, who has a background in marketing and graphic design, launched the coffee catering business three years ago. His children helped pick the name Beeso.
"My kids said, "Baba, use your nickname,'" Khalaf tells Axios.
Fun fact: Though the shop has brought more exposure, the mobile coffee cart remains Khalaf's biggest revenue generator. He recently worked on an event for dentists where he served coffee out of syringes.
"Our main goal at Beeso is to create moments that are unforgettable. It's not only serving coffee," he says.
What to order: The Biscoff latte is the top seller. The Latte De Lavanda is Khalaf's favorite.
