Flashback: A Holland native and his friend opened the first Kebab Shop in San Diego almost 20 years ago. The chain now has over 50 locations.
How it works: Meals are available as wraps, plates, bowls and family packs.
Protein options include saffron chicken, carved lamb and beef, kofta and Moroccan shrimp. Choose from regular hummus, fire hummus or cilantro-jalapeño hummus.
The garlic yogurt, cilantro jalapeño, and fire chili sauces are all available in dispensers for customers to get as much as they want.
