If you've been to Japan and miss their egg sandwiches, Coffee U and its Asian-inspired menu may be able to help.
The intrigue: Coffee U opened in 2023. Owner Raina Hong tells Axios she drew inspiration from the cafe culture in South Korea and other parts of Asia, wanting to create a "true third place" for people to meet up.
Vibe check: The shop has organic modern decor — with plants and wood tones — that reminded us of this coffee shop in Tokyo's Harujuku district.
