Dallas-area Olympians to follow this month

Olympians to watch…

🌈 Amber Glenn, 29: The Plano native is the first woman to win three consecutive U.S. figure skating titles since Michelle Kwan. She is set to become the first openly queer women's figure skater in the Olympics.

⛸️ Emily Chan, 28: Chan is competing for the first time in the Olympics, alongside her pairs partner Spencer Akira Howe. She was born in the Houston area but lists Dallas as her hometown.

🏒 Hannah Bilka, 24: Bilka grew up in Coppell and got her start playing with the junior ice hockey team the Dallas Ice Jets. She has represented the USA in several international hockey championships, winning gold twice.

🛷 Hunter Powell, 29: The Colorado native competed on Baylor's track and field team in 2016-17. He will compete in bobsledding at the Olympics.

🥅 Jake Oettinger, 27: The Dallas Stars goaltender is a fan favorite. He will be part of the U.S. delegation at Friday's opening ceremony.

🧊 Kellie Delka, 38: Olympian and fellow UNT graduate Johnny Quinn introduced Delka to the sport of skeleton. She now represents Denton and Puerto Rico in skeleton competitions. This will be her second time competing in the Olympics.
