Anthony Davis has a hurt hand, but it's unclear what that means for the rest of his season.
Driving the news: ESPN reporter Shams Charania posted on X a little around noon yesterday that the Mav was likely out for the season to undergo surgery on his left hand.
A little over an hour later, Davis posted, "Yall better stop listening to all these lies on these apps!"
Charania later reported Davis wouldn't have surgery after receiving a second opinion. He'll be re-evaluated in six weeks.
Catch up quick: Davis has played 20 games this season. He played just nine last season after being traded from Los Angeles.
He underwent surgery last summer to repair a detached retina.
Davis left last Thursday's game against the Utah Jazz with a left hand injury.
The bottom line: Davis might not be out of the season, but he's the subject of lots of trade rumors.
