Guide to 2025 Dallas-Fort Worth holiday performances

🕯️ Visiting ghosts. Dallas Theater Center hosts its annual performance of "A Christmas Carol." Ebenezer Scrooge's journey never gets old.

• Almost nightly through Dec. 27 at the Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre.

🕊️ For the birds. Dallas Children's Theater hosts a Mo Willems holiday show. "The Pigeon Gets A Big Time Holiday Extravaganza" will bring bedtime stories to life.

• Most nights through Dec. 21. Tickets.

🩰 Sugar plum dancing. Texas Ballet Theater will present "The Nutcracker" in Dallas and Fort Worth.

• Dallas performances continue tonight through Sunday at the Winspear Opera House.
• Fort Worth performances run Dec. 12-28 at the Bass Performance Hall.

🐭 More nutcrackers. The "Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet" makes a stop at the Music Hall at Fair Park.

• There will be three performances Dec. 12-13.

🎻 Symphonic Christmas. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is putting on several holiday performances through New Year's Eve at the Meyerson Symphony Center.

• 🎥 Home Alone in Concert features a live rendition of John Williams' score along with the film. Performances continue through Sunday.
• 🎺 Brassy Christmas features the orchestra's brass and percussion sections at 7:30pm Dec. 16.

• 🎤 Christmas Pops shows feature the orchestra and choir performing holiday classics, with a sing-along, select days Dec. 12-21. A family performance takes place at 11am Dec. 13.
• 🎊 DSO's New Year's Eve show features waltzes, polkas and marches to ring in 2026. 7:30pm Dec. 31.

🪉 More melodic Christmas. The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra is also putting on holiday performances.

• 🧑‍🎄 Elf in Concert includes a live performance of the score during the movie. 7:30pm Dec. 13 at Will Rogers Auditorium.
• ⛪️ Sounds of the Season plays holiday classics at Southlake's White's Chapel Methodist Church at 7pm Dec. 16.
