Though some peopleonly want you for Christmas, others may expect an actual wrapped gift.
The latest: Many towns, neighborhoods and shopping centers are hosting holiday markets for people to buy goods from local artisans.
🎄 Downtown McKinney is hosting its 45th annual Home for the Holidays festival, featuring shopping, live Christmas music, a Ferris wheel and visits with Santa. The tree lighting is at 6:15pm Friday.
10:30am-9pm Friday and Saturday. Noon-5pm Sunday.
💚 Frisco's Fresh Market is hosting a holiday kickoff 11am-1pm Saturday with a visit from The Grinch. Shoppers can visit the green guy for free with a donation of an unwrapped toy or gift card.
🎸 The Dallas Farmers Market is hosting its Holiday Market kickoff 9am-5pm Saturday. The market continues through the end of the year with local artisans and live music.
🎁 The Shops at Park Lane is hosting a Holiday Market 11am-6pm Saturday. There will be live music, treats and local artisans.
☕️ The Colony's Grandscape is hosting the Merry Market Place 6-10pm Saturday, which features local vendors, a hot cocoa station and live music.
🛍️ The Fort Worth Stockyards will feature the Pretty Little Things Market 11am-5pm Sunday. The first 100 shoppers will get a free tote bag.
