The French Quarter vibe can be found in an Uptown bar that recently opened above one of Dallas' oldest restaurants.
The latest: Caché opened in late August in the previously unused upstairs office space at S&D Oyster Company.
The bar is accessed by an elevator in the restaurant or through the back patio.
What to expect: Carefully crafted cocktails and delectable snacks. The space feels intimate but open when the doors to the balcony are opened.
The drinks menu will change with the seasons. We enjoyed the creative flavors, like in the Riffignac, a spritzy highball made with cornbread-infused cognac.
Best bites: We're haunted by the memory of the deviled eggs, served over onion jam and topped with panko breadcrumbs and truffle pearls.

What to order: Defiant Jazz — bourbon, amaro, praline orgeat and passionfruit.
