Carrollton's Koreatown can be overwhelming, between finding parking and picking from dozens of restaurants.
Tucked between a boba shop and a vape store is a Korean-inspired burger joint with a generic name that doesn't give justice to its expansive menu.
The intrigue: Brothers Ben and Jon Lee opened the first LA Burger location in 2011, inspired by Los Angeles' Korean-Mexican fusion truck scene. The chain now has several North Texas locations.
You can add ingredients like kimchi, bulgogi glaze, eggs and wasabi sauce to your burger, rice bowl, tacos and salad.
What to order: K-Town Burger and a rice bowl with bulgogi
Where:LA Burger, 1017 E. Trinity Mills Road, in Carrollton
Cost: $9 for the burger and $11 for the rice bowl.
Six word review: Tender beef with sweet, umami glaze.
