Dallas-Fort Worth residents can now register to volunteer for the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup.
Why it matters: North Texas will host nine matches next year, the most of any city.
State of play: Dallas is one of the 16 North American cities to host the World Cup June 11-July 19, 2026.
How it works: Registration opens today for people over 18. English fluency is required.
Perks: Volunteers will get an official World Cup uniform, a certificate and food and refreshments during shifts.
What's next: Match tickets go on sale in phases starting Sept. 10 for Visa cardholders.
