Today's taco adventure takes us to a small sit-down restaurant that serves Mexico City-inspired dishes.
The intrigue: Mexico City native Juan Garrido and his wife opened Taqueria Catrinas in Carrollton about a year ago, after running a successful catering business for many years.
He says the dishes were inspired by his mother's and grandmother's cooking. The beef is sourced from 44 Farms in Cameron.
What to order: Taco de bistec — seasoned steak.
End your meal with an order of dulce de leche churros, served with ice cream
