It's official: Cooper Flagg is going to be a Dallas Maverick.
Driving the news: Flagg was selected first overall during last night's NBA Draft.
Anthony Davis won the award in 2012. Flagg received the award in April.
What they're saying: "He has offensive skills, he has defensive skills and he has basketball IQ. When you have all of that, you're kind of unstoppable," Ja'Shonté Wright-McLeish, who helped train Flagg when he was in middle school, told the Athletic.
