$30 tickets go on sale in Dallas-Fort Worth

Live Nation is offering $30 tickets to roughly 1,000 concerts, including nearly three dozen in North Texas.

Driving the news: The company's $30 Ticket to Summer promotion started today and will continue until the discounted tickets sell out.

Zoom in: Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas and Toyota Music Factory in Irving are the only North Texas venues offering the promotion.

• Shows include John Legend, Nelly, Simple Plan, Luke Bryan and Pantera.

How it works: Visit the Live Nation website, search by city and follow the instructions to browse discounted tickets.

• Live Nation will add more discounted tickets throughout the summer.

The fine print: Tickets purchased through the offer include all fees in the $30 cost, according to Live Nation.

• Any taxes, which will differ between venues, will be added at checkout.
