Like the Farmer's Almanac, many of you are expecting a hot summer.
The big picture: Last summer was the hottest on record, with extreme heat across the globe.
Last year, Dallas-Fort Worth tied 2017 for having the highest average temperature on record. But, the summer didn't bring a record-breaking number of triple digit days.
The latest: We asked yesterday how many 100-degree days you predict we'll have this summer.
The average for D-FW is 20.
Your replies: We got dozens of responses, mostly with guesses in the 30s.
Mehdi E. and Heather Z. both guessed 21, the lowest total.
Emmy Lou H. had the highest guess with 77.
Leslie M. predicted 32 but said, "I sure hope not though ugh🔥🔥🔥"
The bottom line: Judging from the many other "ugh" responses we got, you're also not looking forward to the heat.
