A college student from Arlington will put her guestimation skills to the test today on "The Price is Right."
Why it matters: Neriah Braziel will represent Paul Quinn College on a college-themed episode for spring break.
Her mom and grandmother used to watch the show together, which evolved into a family tradition as Braziel grew older.
How it works: Contestants guess the price of an item or set of items, which include household goods, fancy cars and travel packages. The person with the closest guess, without going over, gets to play the next game.
What they're saying: "I never imagined that my bubbly energy could land me on a platform like this," Braziel tells Axios.
"I'm just a girl who took a chance by being myself, and that's the message I want to share with others."
