Step into West Texas at this Fair Park bar and restaurant aiming to be the next hot spot in town.
The latest: Far-Out Dallas replaces the short-lived pizza place Wriggly Tin. It's still in its soft opening but promises a standout menu put together by Marc Cassel and Christopher Jeffers, previously of The Green Room and Bolsa, respectively.
Vibe check: The high curved ceiling of the Quonset hut and a wall of windows lend the space the open-air feeling of the West Texas desert. Plants in terracotta pots line the walls, making you feel at home.
What to order: Daniela From Puebla — mezcal, elderflower liqueur, blueberry puree, lemon and mint.
