The Design District continues to earn kudos for its not-so-secret-anymore dining scene.
The latest: Duro Hospitality's El Carlos Elegante was among the local restaurants to get a nod in Michelin's new Texas guide.

Vibe check: The exterior of El Carlos looks like any other basic Design District building, but the inside transports you to a rustic Mexican abode. Grab a spot at the horseshoe bar to watch the kitchen-and-cocktail bustle.
