AT&T Stadium, an Asian shopping center, several mosques and a Hindu temple are among the hundreds of Election Day polling locations in North Texas this year.
The big picture: Polling locations have diversified beyond schools, churches and city-owned buildings over the years, in line with the fast-growing population of North Texas.
Plus, voting at a place you wouldn't otherwise go to is a low-stakes way to explore a different part of your county.
Zoom in: In Tarrant County, AT&T Stadium and Grand Prairie's Asia Times Square are among the Election Day polling sites. This is the first time that AT&T Stadium is serving as a polling place.
In Dallas County, the polling sites include the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Irving, Islamic Association of North Texas in Richardson and the For Oak Cliff office in Dallas.
Denton County's sites include the North Texas fairgrounds and several fire stations.
Flashback: American Airlines Center served as a polling place for early voting and Election Day in 2020. It was the county's largest polling place that year.
If you go: Residents of Dallas, Collin and Tarrant counties, among others, can cast a ballot at any vote center in their county.
