The world's largest operating steam locomotive will roll through North Texas this week.
Why it matters: Built in 1941,Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 is the last operating steam engine of its kind.
Driving the train: Big Boy retired in 1961 and has visited cities along Union Pacific railways in recent years as part of its Heartland of America Tour.
Zoom in: The train will stop at 275 W. Lancaster Ave. in Fort Worth from Wednesday to Saturday. The public can view it for free from 9am-3pm on Thursday and 9am-1pm on Friday.
The train is scheduled to depart Fort Worth at 8am Saturday and head to McAlester, Okla.
Pro tip: You can also see the train on Wednesday, when it passes Burleson and Edgecliff Village before arriving in Fort Worth, per Lone Star Live.
The train is scheduled to pass by Watauga, Roanoke, Argyle and Denton after it leaves Cowtown.
