Republicans are outspending Democrats on political ads in Dallas-Fort Worth even as most major races are likely locked down, according to data from analytics platform AdImpact.
The big picture: Democrats outspent Republicans by about half a billion dollars nationwide since Aug. 1.
Zoom in: D-FW has seen more political ad spending than other large Texas metros since August, with $17.2 million paid by both parties.
Both parties have spent $15.6 million in Houston.
Meanwhile, political ad spending in our state capital is just over $6.7 million.
