A rare Harry Potter book is on auction for over $9,500.
The intrigue: Dallas-based Heritage Auctions is sellinga corrected proof copy of J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," which became "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in America.
The 1997 book had a print run of only 200 copies. The early version had some typos that were corrected before the next printing run.
The latest: The online auction has racked up over 27 bids.
Bidding closes at 1pm Thursday.
