Our latest taco excursion takes us to a restaurant in Choctaw Stadium, the former home of the Texas Rangers.
Driving the news: The Houston-based Tex-Mex chain just opened its first North Texas location in the Ballpark in Arlington.
- The spacious, colorful restaurant has its own entrance along the walkway toward Globe Life Field, and TVs over the bar play a feed from inside the ballpark during baseball events.
What to order: The Ranger Combo — a fajita chicken soft taco, beef picadillo enchilada and hatch pepper tamale.
- Plus, we got the Mexican Candy, mixed with tequila, watermelon, mango and spicy citrus.
Where: El Tiempo Cantina, 1011 Nolan Ryan Expressway in Arlington.
Cost: $25.99 for the combo plate. $13 for the cocktail.
