Our latest cocktail adventure takes us to one of the region's steak frites restaurants.
The latest: Steakyard is relatively new to northeast Dallas, nestled behind REI near the flagship Half Price Books on Northwest Highway.
- The restaurant is surprisingly upscale for the location and offers much more than a slab of beef and fries.
What we loved: We couldn't get enough of the burrata appetizer and then the coconut chess pie. It's hard to find a chess pie, especially in a high-end restaurant.
What to order: Frozen pina colada
- We also really enjoyed the espresso martini and the pineapple mojito.
