Axios Dallas Weekender

♦️ Swap cards. Collectors of sports trading cards, Pokémon and other pop culture memorabilia will gather this weekend at Collect-A-Con in Fort Worth.

• 10am-6pm Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Tickets are $30 Saturday and $25 Sunday.

🎺 Watch o'er the ramparts. The Dallas Winds will perform A Star-Spangled Spectacular! There will be ice cream and hot dogs.

• 1pm tomorrow at the Meyerson Symphony Center. Tickets start at $26.

🇺🇸 Parade America. The Arlington Independence Day Parade is the largest in Texas.

• National anthem at 9am. Parade continues until 11ish tomorrow in downtown Arlington. Free.

👟 Walk past history. Learn about the history of downtown Dallas with stops including the Majestic Theatre, Thanks-Giving Square and AT&T Discovery District.

• 9-11am Saturday. Meet outside the Flying Horse Cafe on Commerce Street. Free.
