Things to do in Dallas this weekend: nuclear circus, International Women's Day

๐ŸŽช Defy gravity. The Garden Bros Nuclear Circus promises performers from 22 countries for a 100-minute performance that includes motorcycles, jugglers, clowns and a human cannonball.

  • Shows Thursday-Sunday at Panther Island Pavilion. General adult tickets start at $35, but discounts are offered.

๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ Celebrate womanhood. International Women's Day this year has the theme, "Invest in women: Accelerate progress," and the Ritz-Carlton in Las Colinas is celebrating with women-owned spirits and live music.

  • 6-8pm Friday.

๐Ÿฆ• Go roaring. Hang with life-size animatronic dinosaurs, make dino-themed crafts and hop on the Perot Museum's TECH Truck with your kids. The event ends with an outdoor movie night.

  • 2-9pm Saturday at the Monument Realty PGA District in Frisco. Free admission.

๐Ÿงต Play with patterns. Members of the Irving Quilt Guild will guide families through quilting-inspired art classes as part of the city's Second Sunday Funday events.

  • 1-4pm Sunday. Free.
