Trisha Cunningham has been president and CEO of the North Texas Food Bank for more than four years.

  • The food bank serves 13 counties in the Dallas area. For ways to help this holiday season, click here.

As part of our regular Screen Time feature, we will examine how some of the most interesting people in North Texas interact with technology.

Here’s how Cunningham clicks…

Device of choice: Samsung S20 (love the expandable storage!)

First tap of the day: Email, then Facebook to wish happy birthdays to friends

Go-to news sources: Dallas Morning News, Dallas Business Journal, D CEO and love the local community news sources

On rotation: Love all kinds of music but mostly country, 80’s music, Christian and church hymns

Podcast of choice: NPR News “Up First” and “Doing it Right: The Stories That Make Us”

Most used app: Facebook, Amazon (most of my shopping) and the North Texas Food Bank App (I had to put in a plug)

Reading list:Option B” by Adam Grant and Sheryl Sandberg. At NTFB, it is the Year of Resilience and this speaks to navigating a new normal and the importance of supporting each other. “The Defined Dish” by Alex Snodgrass. I love to read cookbooks AND Alex is a great supporter!
