βIt's very early in the new year, but there are already a handful of must-see events on the schedule for 2025.
Why it matters: Cleveland is looking to build on a banner year for tourism in 2024 that put Northeast Ohio in the national spotlight.
The intrigue: Of course, several big concerts, festivals and conventions are sure to be announced in the coming weeks.
- We've identified five can't-miss events you should have marked on your calendar:
π "Raw"
WWE's flagship show made its big Netflix debut this week and heads to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Feb. 3. Tickets start at $35.
- It will be one of the biggest "Raw" episodes of the year. It takes place two days after the Royal Rumble in Indianapolis and will kick off the road to WrestleMania 41.
π March Madness
The NCAA Women's Final Four came to town in 2024. This year, Cleveland hosts the first and second rounds of the men's tourney.
- Games will take place March 21 and 23 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
π€ AC/DC
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee AC/DC will perform at Huntington Bank Field on May 28. Tickets, which are selling fast, start at $75.
- You can also expect the Rock Hall to get in on the action with a pre-party on its front plaza.
π¦Έ "Superman"
The arrival of the new "Superman" movie in theaters on July 11 will be a global event, but holds special local significance as well.
- Much of the film was shot in Northeast Ohio last summer with local landmarks visible in the trailer.
Between the lines: A tribute plaza paying homage to local Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster is planned for downtown.
π§ Cynthia Erivo
The "Wicked" star is the centerpiece of this year's Blossom Music Festival, performing with the Cleveland Orchestra on July 25. Tickets start at $35.
- The show should hold you over until the sequel, "Wicked: For Good," opens in theaters on Nov. 21.
