The producers behind "Love Is Blind," "The Ultimatum" and "Perfect Match" are now casting Charlotte singles for a new season of "Married at First Sight."
Why it matters: Charlotte's dating scene feels "messy" and "frustrating." Reality TV keeps tapping into that energy, and this show is asking people to take it even further by legally marrying a stranger on camera.
Driving the news: The 70+ question application asks for basic personal details, dating preferences, a photo and references.
- It's not clear when Charlotte's season of "Married at First Sight" will air, but according to the application, if selected, you must be able to take two weeks off work (Aug. 17–Aug. 30, 2026).
- You must also be available during an approximately nine-week production window (August–October 2026).
How it works: Experts match two strangers, they legally marry when they meet, then the couples live together and decide later whether to stay married.
- To apply, you must have an active passport, which implies contestants will be traveling outside the U.S.
Flashback: Charlotte previously hosted "Married at First Sight" in 2019 for Season 9.
- The season added to Charlotte's growing reputation as a reality TV dating hub, years before Netflix filmed its record-breaking Charlotte season of "Love Is Blind."
Zoom in: Charlotte has become a regular stop on the reality TV dating circuit.
- Charlotte singles have also appeared on "The Perfect Match," "The Ultimatum," "The Bachelor" franchise, "Love Island," "90 Day: Hunt for Love," "Twin Love" and "Farmer Wants a Wife."
What's next: Season 19 of "Married at First Sight," filmed in Austin, Texas, will premiere on Peacock on Thursday, Oct. 23.
- The show is also casting singles in Detroit, St. Louis, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.
