Boston-based distillery Bully Boy decided to shoot its shot this month and pitch a collaboration with Red Bull.

The intrigue: The energy drink brand has chosen Boston for dance competitions and cliff diving tournaments, so why not go local for a boozy partnership?

The answer, based on whoever runs its Instagram page, is follower count.

"Let's make it more exciting," the page states, per a screenshot shared by Bully Boy on Instagram. "When you have 2 million followers, reach back out and we'll make it happen."
