PATH Foundation crews installed a 180-foot bridge spanning Peachtree Creek this week as part of Atlanta's segment of the Chattahoochee RiverLandsproject.
Catch up quick: The Trust for Public Land's plan to connect metro Atlantans to the Chattahoochee River calls for a greenway and trails along the waterway.
What's next: The bridge connects the historic Standing Peachtree green space, where RiverLands opened a nice kayak launch, to areas downstream.
It is expected to open in late 2026, according to Atlanta City Council member Dustin Hillis, who represents the area.
