A long-vacant lot in the heart of Midtown will become an art-filled park with a performance venue, restaurant and café, public restrooms and more.
Driving the news: The Midtown Alliance released renderings yesterday of Midtown Green, the four-acre green space planned along 14th Street.
The centerpiece of the park design by landscape and architecture design firm Field Operations is a pavilion "inspired by the form of a magnolia blossom," according to the Alliance.
State of play: Crews are already moving dirt at the site.
The project's total cost and timeline are under development.
