Rivian breaks ground on $5 billion Georgia EV plant east of Atlanta

The intrigue: Since Rivian picked Georgia for the new plant, the Irvine, California-based company has opened a storefront at Ponce City Market and announced plans to open an East Coast headquarters in Krog District along the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail.
