Workplace conditions dramatically improved for Atlanta Falcons players last year, according to new rankings released by the NFL Players Association.
Why it matters: The rankings give fans an insight into the working conditions players endure or desire.
The big picture: The Falcons' overall ranking catapulted from 25 in 2024 to 3 this year. Its rank in 2023 was 24.
Zoom in: The Falcons last year opened a new two-story strength and condition center and a new locker room at its training facility in Flowery Branch, which paid off with A+ rankings from players.
- The team also gave A+ marks to head coach Raheem Morris and owner Arthur Blank.
- "New head coach Raheem Morris has positively changed the culture in just his first year," the report reads.
- The players gave As to the organization for its treatment of families, nutrition, food and dining areas and strength coaches.
Yes, but: There's still some room for improvement. Falcons players doled out a B+ for team travel, and a B in the training room category.
- "Players identify two key improvement areas: the need for at least one additional physical therapist in the training room and better ventilation in the new locker room's bathrooms.
Zoom out: The Miami Dolphins ranked first overall, while the Arizona Cardinals ranked last.
- The NFLPA, which is the players' union, says it conducts the annual survey to help raise standards across the league and help players make important career decisions.
