The popular Charlotte store Thrift Pony is coming to Atlanta — part of a six-city tour.

Why it matters: Charlotteans know Thrift Pony as a hotspot for affordable-yet-trendy secondhand clothing, Axios' McKenzie Rankin writes.

What to expect: Thrift Pony is offering free tickets to its April 13 and 14 pop-up at 1083 Austin Ave NE in Little Five Points.

  • Brands: Thrifty Pony said there will be secondhand and vintage pieces from brands like Anthropologie, Reformation, Free People and Urban Outfitters.
  • Selection: Women's and men's clothing, shoes and accessories, in sizes XS to 3XL, will be on hand.
  • Price: Average items are priced around $14, with some being up to 90% off the retail price.
  • Hours: 10am to 6pm, with everything 50% off on April 14.

Yes, and: Schedule time to bring your used clothes to the location from April 8 to 11 to profit from the event. Consignors will receive 50% of the sale price.

What they're saying: "It'll be one big shopping party," said Thrift Pony founder Hellen Moffitt in a statement.
