Super Bowl Sunday has all the makings of being a historic day with President Trump set to be the first sitting president to attend the big game.
The big picture: The Kansas City Chiefs, who have won the last two consecutive Super Bowls, face the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans.

Super Bowl kickoff is set for 6:30pm ET at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The intrigue: Jon Batiste will perform the national anthem during pregame performances.
- Lauren Daigle will perform "America the Beautiful" along with New Orleans jazz player Trombone Shorty.
- Ledisi will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing," which is also known as the Black national anthem.
Trump at Super Bowl LIX, pregame interview
Zoom in: Trump has a long track record of attending sporting events while in office.
- It's unclear when Trump will arrive in New Orleans for the game but the Secret Service arrived days ahead of his visit.
A pre-taped interview with Trump by Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier will air during Fox's Super Bowl pregame show, Axios' previously reported.
- The interview is expected to be aired at the 3pm ET hour, Fox said.

Between the lines: The Super Bowl LIX YouTube Tailgate Concert is set for 4pm ET/3pm CT.
- It will be broadcast on the NFL's YouTube channel with a live performance from headliner Post Malone.

Kendrick Lamar headlines the Super Bowl halftime show with special guest SZA.
- Lamar will be the first solo rap performer during a halftime show.
What time is the Super Bowl halftime show?
The halftime show is expected to begin somewhere between 8-8:30pm ET depending on how the game is progressing, per Fox Sports.
