A 100-year-old home designed by the same architect as Dunedin's Fenway Hotel has hit the market for $2.15 million.
Fun fact: The Mediterranean-style charmer in St. Pete's Old Northeast neighborhood is known as the "cake house" or "wedding cake house" because of its stucco and trim reminiscent of frosting.
- It was designed by architect Herman Everett Wendell.
State of play: The two-story home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms and spans just under 3,500 square feet, per its listing.
- The interior features refinished original hardwood floors, an updated kitchen, and a master suite with dual vanities and a California closet system while the backyard includes a courtyard and wood-fired kitchen.
