3 Daughters Brewing tops list of the biggest breweries in Tampa Bay

3 Daughters Brewing once again tops the Tampa Bay Business Journal's annual ranking of local breweries by barrels sold.

• The family-owned St. Pete brewery opened in 2013 and sold some 1,746 barrels via retail — not from a distributor — between June 2020 and May 2021.

The big surprise: Clearwater’s Big Storm surged from 10th last year to 4th this year with 972 barrels sold.

• That moved it past Coppertail in Ybor, Dunedin House of Beer, Brew Hub in Lakeland, Tampa’s Angry Chair, Bradenton’s Motorworks, and Big Top Brewing in Sarasota.
