1050 Water Street, a 22-story luxury apartment tower, is the final piece of Water Street Tampa's first phase. The building has been topped off and should be complete by the end of 2021.
Why it matters: The Water Street development continues to shape the city, from literally stretching the skyline and changing the footprint of downtown to landing Tampa's first 5-star hotel.
What to expect: The apartment building will include 490 units, ranging from studio to two-bedroom layouts. Expect light-filled apartments with giant industrial-style windows and contemporary high-end finishes.
- And the community will have a pool deck, rooftop cabanas, a bar, an outdoor kitchen and other resort-like amenities.
- Other highlights include co-working spaces, party rooms, a fitness center and 32,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
What's next: Move-in for 1050 Water Street is slated for early 2022. Phase 2 of Water Street Tampa is also expected to begin early next year.
