Enjoy wine and wildflowers in the Texas Hill Country

How it works: A Wine and Wildflower Journey Passport costs $100 for two people or $65 for one. You can use it Monday through April 18.

• It gets you a free tasting at each participating winery, up to a maximum of four wineries per day.
• You'll also get a 15% discount on up to three bottle purchases.

By the numbers: More than 45 wineries are participating in the event organized by the trade organization Texas Hill Country Wineries.

Zoom in: The average tasting fee is $15 per person, per Texas Hill Country Wineries. That means you have to visit at least five wineries in four weeks to cover the cost of a passport.
