Taste test of San Antonio's new Tenfold Rooftop

The vibe: With its breathtaking downtown views and prime photo opportunities, it's a perfect spot to flaunt that outfit you've been saving for a special night.

• It's swanky but not overly grandiose.

What to try: The Queen of the Night Cactus cocktail ($15), a vibrant blend with smooth heat from jalapeno tequila, the warmth of Ancho Reyes and a refreshing cucumber oleo.

• The food menu features tapas-sized portions ideal for a pre-night-out bite. Expect to be satisfied but not too full.
• I had the crispy lobster rice ($20) and wagyu gyoza ($16). The lobster crispy rice offered a satisfying mix of crunch and succulence, but I'm still dreaming about the savory wagyu gyoza with ponzu sauce.
