Kobop on Forest Hill just launched a $1 wing Wednesday special.
Why it matters: That's about 40% off the regular price of six wings for $10.
Driving the news: The special runs every Wednesday from now until infinity (we hope) at the Korean barbecue restaurant inside Väsen Brewing's South Richmond location.
- On special: Kobop's Korean double-fried chicken wings with all the sauce options: soy garlic, gochu hot honey and bang bang — plus the gluten-free versions.
The fine print: There's a 16-per person wing limit and the special is for dine-in only, a Kobop spokesperson tells Axios.
Yes, but: There's more. Kobop and Väsen also started doing weekday happy hours from open till 6pm.
- Drafts and highballs are $2 off and there's an $8 beer-and-shot special.
- Plus: Kobop has a $9 happy hour "snack pack," which gets you one Korean barbecue taco, three dumplings and spicy Nashville fries.
If you go: Väsen and Kobop are at 5047 Forest Hill Ave. and open Tuesday-Thursday, 3-10pm; Friday and Saturday, noon-11pm; and Sunday, noon-9pm, but Kobop's kitchen closes an hour earlier each day.
