Väsen and Kobop open in Forest Hill

Väsen Brewing's Forest Hill location, along with in-house Korean barbecue restaurant Kobop, opens Friday in South Richmond.

State of play: In its second spot, Väsen will also serve wine and cocktails in addition to their award-winning brews, per a news release.

With its brick-and-mortar spot, Kobop will be serving Korean tacos, bao buns, Korean fried chicken, and gluten-free and vegan options.
The new spot was designed to serve the family-friendly neighborhood, which is heavy outdoorsy people who run, bike and paddle the nearby trails and river.
Expect limited parking, ample bike racks and, in the spring, a patio.

If you go: Väsen in Forest Hill is open Friday and Saturday, 11am-11pm, Sunday, 11am-8pm and Tuesday-Thursday, 3-10pm.
