Why it matters: If you report one to 311, the city's Chief Administrative Officer might just come fill it.
Driving the news: CAO Odie Donald II and DPW director Bobby Vincent got to work Wednesday afternoon fillingmultiple potholes on Bliley Road off Forest Hill Avenue to kick off the pothole-palooza.
Vincent says DPW willhave five to six crews outdaily aiming to fill about 200 potholes per day.
The intrigue: There were dozens of pothole requests on 311 just on Wednesday, with many filed within 10 to 20 minutes of each other, according to an Axios review.
Nearly 100 have been put in since Sunday, per 311.
What they're saying: "MASSIVE POTHOLE POPPING TIRES. BEEN THERE TOO LONG. FIX NOW PLEASE," wrote one Richmonder on 311 about a pothole in the East End near MLK Middle.
The bottom line: "We on the way baby!" Donald said Wednesday.
