How to get a spot on RVA TukTuk's Tacky Light tour

RVA TukTuk's Tacky Light tours are back.

Why it matters: They're already booked through most of December, but a TukTuk spokesperson tells Axios that there's still hope — if you hop on the waitlist.

Catch up quick: RVA TukTuk's popular Tacky Light tour is one of 13 routes that the electric transportation company offers in December.

This one picks riders up at Main Line Brewery, or around the Fan and Scott's Addition for a $35 fee.
Then a driver whisks them to private and public Christmas light displays around Museum District and Oregon Hill for 1.5 hours.

Plus: Booze and dogs are allowed, the music is festive and seats are heated.

Pro tip: Go on a weekday or after Christmas. Those days usually have more availability.

And if you get on a waitlist and someone cancels, everyone on the list gets email alerts for a shot at the open slot.

If you go: Grab six of your friends and split the $279 cost to make it about $46 per person.
