The Park in Richmond is adding a massive patio

Catch up quick: The multi-entertainment venue, which opened nearly two years ago, is known as an Instagram-friendly indoor wonderland. 

• It has the longest bar in the state at 60 feet, Putt Putt, six restaurants, a 200-seat auditorium for live music and comedy shows and once hosted DJ Pauly D from "Jersey Shore."
• It's also gained some prominence in the nightlife scene with The Hideaway, a speakeasy-looking nightclub that regularly sees lines to get in on weekends. 

The latest: The new second-story deck will be 4,700 square feet and have a glass ceiling, per BizSense.

• The $500,000 project is expected to be done in time for New Year's and be able to hold about 300 people.

What we're watching: Owner Basim Mansour told BizSense that there might be another outdoor space in the works.
