Richmond has one of the spookiest Airbnbs in the U.S., according to the home rental company.
The big picture: Airbnb determined that by scouring through listings with the most mentions of words like "Halloween," "spooky," "haunted," or "horror" in the past decade, a spokesperson told Axios.
- Richmond's listing is a 2 bed, 2 bath with a backyard in Oregon Hill called "The Black Pine," owned by local real estate agent Angie Cooper at River Fox Realty (check her Insta for some before-and-after shots).
- It's next to the Hollywood Cemetery — where the former frontman for heavy metal band GWAR is buried — and Rest in Pieces, which is known for its taxidermy collection.
- It's also down the street from L'Opposum, which Richmond readers said had the best bathroom in Richmond because of its "creepy" clown art.
