Falls Lake has seen a significant recovery in its water levels over the past week thanks to a series of rainstorms.
Why it matters: It's taken Raleigh's water supply in the lake from 66% to 84% full over the last week, according to the most recent release of data on Tuesday.
That would put the lake, which is Raleigh's primary source of drinking water, above the levels where water restrictions are triggered.
