There are more places than ever to grab food on the edge of Dix Park.
Why it matters: As the city invests heavily into Dix Park, businesses and developers are flocking to the area, opening hundreds of new apartments and now places to drink and eat.
Restaurants now open:
🌻 Sunflower's Cafe: A revival of a longtime favorite of the downtown crowd, Sunflower's Cafe is piloted by Quinn Ferebee, the son of the Sunflower's previous owners. The cafe still offers many of the same sandwiches and soups it was known for, with the addition of several new twists and a cocktail menu. (1029 S. Saunders St.)
🥯 Benchwarmers Bagels: The second outpost by one of Raleigh's favorite bagel makers makes it easier than ever to grab their wood-fired-oven-baked bagels before your walk around Dix. (1015 S. Saunders St.)
🌮 Campo Taco Co.: A new Mexican food spot with a large variety of tacos and colorful cocktails. (1001 S. Saunders St.)
