CBS is doing a nationwide scavenger hunt for a chance to witness the "Survivor" season finale in person, and North Carolina's clue drops this week.
Why it matters: Who doesn't love a good challenge?
State of play: The show is hiding 50 immunity idols around the U.S. ahead of its 50th season, which begins airing Feb. 25.
Winners will be invited to attend the live finale in Los Angeles on May 20.
Zoom in: Each state will hold its own unique challenge, from exploring caves in Kentucky to gliding across Louisiana's bayou and uncovering a nod to Jeff Probst's Kansas roots.
How it works: Fans can visit survivor50challenge.com and sign up for alerts. Different states are dropping on different days, and the first idols are already being found.
Each contains a riddle, as well as details about difficulty and timing.
What's next: North Carolina's clue is dropping this Friday at 10am.
